[My parents are] very interested in my academic pursuits, or success, or lack thereof, at times, um so that’s an important aspect of them. They both found their education to be very important, so they try to, they look for the same things in me and my sisters. But at the same time, they want us to be happy and are interested in other aspects of our lives as well, but that’s sort of the big thing that has always been present since I was a kid, which I guess is very stereotypical of Asian families.
